Martyr’s Green was founded by Carrie Langmuir and Jo Maiklem.

Following the birth of their own daughters (Anna 9/97 and Purdey 8/99) and after many years of teaching, a decision was made to find suitable premises for a very special Montessori Day Care Nursery.

Knowing only too well the lack of day care within the area and then discovering some disused barns and stables at Pound Farm in Martyr’s Green, the School began to take shape.

Situated in Cobham near the picturesque village of Ockham, Martyr’s Green offers a rural yet highly accessible location (View map).

Nestling in farm grounds the old granary and stables offer ideal single storey accommodation for little ones. Following an extensive refurbishment in 2000 we can now offer 36 places for day care.
